This model fits when you need specific expertise quickly for a defined period. You pay an hourly or daily rate, with no long-term commitments. Our contracts are set up to comply with the Dutch rules on self-employment (Wet DBA) and we take the administration off your hands. That matters: the enforcement moratorium ended on 1 January 2025, and since 1 January 2026 the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst) can also impose penalties for intentional or grossly negligent breaches of the rules on false self-employment. Typical uses are bridging a vacancy, running a security assessment or getting help during an incident.
2. MVProfessionals: secondment and temp-to-perm
For engagements of six months or longer, MVProfessionals is the better fit. Our professionals are seconded to your organisation as a full part of your team, but remain employed by MVPeople Group. That means lower employer costs for you, ongoing HR support for the professional and the option to move to permanent employment after 6 to 12 months.
Secondment suits organisations that want to build their security team but are not yet ready to hire permanent staff straight away. You can try the working relationship first before committing for longer. We support the professional, including performance reviews, development plans and help with certification.
3. MVPermanent: permanent recruitment
For a permanent hire in your cybersecurity team, use MVPermanent. We run executive search for senior cybersecurity roles, from CISO to security architect and from DPO to SOC manager.
MVPermanent works on a contingency basis (no cure no pay, 25% fee) or a retained search basis (30% fee). Every placement comes with a 3-month guarantee period. Besides advertising vacancies, we actively approach professionals in our network who are not looking, but are open to the right move.
4. MVPartners: consultancy partnerships
Sometimes an assignment needs more capacity than one professional can provide. MVPartners is our partner network of boutique cybersecurity consultancies. Do you have a large implementation project, need a managed security service or want to scale up quickly? MVPartners gives you access to partners we know personally and check for quality.
The MVPartners model works on the basis of partnership and referral fees. We match partners to your specific need. It suits MSP set-ups, large transformation projects and situations where you need several specialisms at once.
5. MVPrentice: young professionals
The shortage of security people also calls for new entrants. MVPrentice is our traineeship and starter platform for young cybersecurity talent. We select young professionals and support them with certification tracks (ISACA, ISC2), coaching by senior MVPeople consultants and hands-on experience with enterprise clients.

6. MVProjects: Statement of Work
Sometimes you do not need an extra person. You have a concrete project with clear deliverables and a fixed scope. MVProjects delivers project-based cybersecurity services under a Statement of Work. Examples include ISO 27001 implementation and certification readiness, NIS2 gap analyses, DORA readiness assessments, penetration tests, IAM implementations and cloud security assessments.
