About the assignment
You act as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and IAM technical teams. You define IAM requirements, manage system configurations, and ensure compliance with identity governance frameworks.
Your focus is on optimising user access workflows, reducing identity risks, and maintaining operational efficiency. You translate business needs into IAM solutions using industry-standard platforms and best practices.
Your responsibilities
- Define and document IAM functional requirements based on business and compliance needs
- Manage identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, access reviews, deprovisioning, and JML workflows
- Design role-based (RBAC) and attribute-based (ABAC) access control models
- Oversee IAM platform configuration, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Coordinate with technical teams on implementation of identity solutions
- Conduct access reviews and remediate orphaned accounts and excessive permissions
- Report on IAM metrics, risks, and compliance status to management

Certifications (preferred)
Must-haves
- 5+ years in IAM functional design or identity governance roles
- Hands-on experience with at least one major IAM platform (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID)
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and JML processes
- Knowledge of RBAC, ABAC, and access control models
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIS2
- Familiarity with identity analytics and access certification platforms
- CISSP or CISM certification
