Privacy Officer
About the assignment
The organisation is migrating to a new HR system. You play a critical role ensuring privacy and data protection are embedded into this transition from the start. You'll assess processes through a privacy lens, identify risks, and recommend controls that make the new system both practical and legally sound.

Your responsibilities
- Review HR system implementation processes and recommend privacy-by-design controls
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) for new HR workflows
- Advise on GDPR and UAVG compliance requirements throughout the migration
- Identify and escalate privacy and data protection risks to stakeholders
- Translate privacy regulations into practical, workable solutions for business teams
- Document privacy decisions and maintain compliance records
- Serve as privacy advisor to project and business teams during implementation

Must-haves
- University degree (law, IT, privacy, or information security preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on privacy and data protection experience
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and UAVG regulations
- Self-directed, decisive, and solution-focused approach
- Ability to translate compliance requirements into business-friendly actions
Nice-to-haves
- CIPP/E, CIPM, or CISM certification
- Experience with HR system implementations or migrations
- Familiarity with DPIA frameworks and privacy-by-design methodologies
